CSB Route Management is integrated into Sales, Shipping, and warehouse logistics. Orders, delivery dates, vehicles, and route parameters are the basis for centralized planning and management of delivery routes in the CSB-System. The system considers any changes of orders or dates and updates them to Route Planning and Route Management.
Cost-effective route and cost control
The CSB-System supports the structured management of routes, taking relevant criteria into account, for example, mileage, vehicle types, additional costs, and road transport regulations.
Consistent management of deliveries and returns
All route and delivery data can be centrally accessed by the processes involved. Feedback from deliveries – such as confirmations of receipt, returns, or movements of empties – is entered digitally and processed in the CSB-System. This means, the status of the delivery is always up to data and traceable.
Mobile support for drivers and scheduling
In addition to providing central planning functions, the CSB-System supports mobile driver and scheduling solutions. Digital route and order information is made available, and feedback is returned to the ERP. This reduces manual work, maximizes data quality, and improves transparency throughout the transport chain.
Integration into Analytics and Controlling
All route-related data can be used in evaluations and analyses. The system lets you methodically evaluate transport costs, route itineraries, and key performance indicators to establish a solid basis for logistics management and continuous improvement.
