Requirement determination and procurement planning

CSB Procurement is deeply integrated with production, inventory, coverage planning, and sales. Based on production schedules, sales forecasts, or inventory levels, the system determines the current and future demand for raw and packaging materials as well as merchandise. The result is predictive procurement planning in line with requirements.

Centralized order processing and supplier integration

Purchase orders are centrally captured, managed, and documented in the CSB-System. The integrated electronic data transfer enables a structured exchange of order, delivery, and billing data with suppliers and trading partners. All procurement data is supplied by the system in real time. 

Transparency, traceability, and quality

CSB Procurement is an integral part of end-to-end traceability along the value chain. Incoming goods are clearly identified and documented at batch level. The data is immediately available for quality assurance and production as well as compliance purposes, ensuring transparency from the supplier all the way to the end product.

Integration into Inventory, Production, and Accounting

Purchased materials are transferred to inventory management, production processes, and accounting. Information on goods received, consumption, and costs are always up to date, providing the basis for cost control, post-calculation, and evaluations. This makes Procurement a central control element of the supply chain.
